St. Louis Dancing Classrooms (SLDC) is a social and emotional learning program that cultivates essential life skills in students through the practice of ballroom dance. SLDC Teaching Artists model, instruct, and guide students in developing important skills and behaviors including civility, respect, teamwork, and self-discipline whilst teaching the basic steps of six different ballroom dances.
