Cornet Chop Suey includes seven multi-talented musicians providing electrifying performances of instrumental and vocal jazz. From the traditional New Orleans sounds of Louis Armstrong; the Big Band Swing era of Bennie Goodman; the Kansas City, East Coast, West Coast styles; contemporary, hip, bluesy, funky; these guys play it all! With over 200 years of collective performance experience, these veterans provide shows that engage and delight audiences. The group includes classically trained and accredited music educators, alumni of the Stan Kenton and Harry James big bands, and nationally recognized performing artists who have appeared with celebrities ranging from Maynard Ferguson to Chuck Berry.
