Miracle, John Two Hawks, and Coyote Old Man. This is what has been said about Robert Roe from the News Focus, “While listening to the haunting melodies played by the Osage Wind Riders it is easy to envision an American Indian sitting on the back of a horse solemnly staring out to an expanse of the western plains, as of yet unspoiled by the ‘white man’.”
4' x 8' table, electric power, in large venues would prefer house PA. Will supply the mic and effects for my performances.

The band focuses on, but is not limited to, music from 1895-1930. We play ragtime, early blues and jazz, standards, and originals. Includes historic “firsts,” music by women & African-American composers, many Missouri artists. By combining older music with often a more modern take, we keep the history, yet bring the music alive in a way that makes it relevant for modern audiences. We play many familiar tunes but also introduce our audiences to rarely heard music of the era.
Members of the band are available for educational concerts, either remote or in person. around themes such as Missouri Composers, Women Composers, African American Composers, Early Blues, Hits of the Era, etc, which will combine performance with short takes on music history.

Step right up folks, for an engaging bit of Americana, ideal for audiences of all ages. Professor Farquar and Polecat Annie set entertainment back more than a century. Unlike the snake oil hucksters of the past, they peddle no elixirs or patent pills. Instead, they dispense copious amounts of laughter, the best medicine of all. With guitar, banjo and an odd collection of percussive instruments, they perform timeless toe-tapping traditional tunes, lyrical laments and droll ditties from the Civil War, the Ozarks and the Old West. Astonishing demonstrations of illusion, chicanery, hoodwinking and flimlam. Hands-on instruction in juggling and archaic amusements. Vibrant, vintage vaudeville virtousity!
